Basil Matthew Grider, 23, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 25, 2017.Basil was born on July 28, 1993, in Longview, WA, to Quentin D. Grider and Jessica J. (McCarthy) Grider. He loved his family and spent a lot of time with his mom and his brothers. He had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them as well. He also loved music.He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Mason Daniel Grider and Caine Xavier Clouse, both of Mansfield; and many friends.Basil was preceded in death by his maternal uncle, Cameron Slade McCray.Calling hours will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield.
