Bessie Garn Obituary

Bessie J. Garn, 93, of Mansfield, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017. Bessie was born May 26, 1923 in Smithville, Ohio to Jay and Bessie (Carson) Garn. She has been a resident of McElvain Homes since 1977. She was a faithful attendant of Mansfield Freewill Baptist Church.She is survived by her guardian, Miles Parsons; and friends at McElvain Homes.She was preceded in death by her parents; and a good friend, Kathe Gongwer "Boss". Calling hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., Mansfield, OH. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Lantz Cemetery. To send a memorial gift to the family of Bessie J.
