Brenda Kay Mapes

Brenda Kay (Foster) Mapes, 59, of Mansfield, passed away suddenly, on Monday, August 3, 2015. Brenda was born on January 25, 1956, in Mansfield, to Raymond E. and Ruth D. (Wilson) Foster. Brenda loved to spend time with her grandchildren, and her family was most important to her. She also enjoyed traveling and visiting the ocean.She is survived by two children,Jon (Kristina) Mapes and Jennifer Mapes, both of Mansfield; eight grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew, Gavin, Heidi, Kara, Blake, Bailee, and Hayden; five siblings, Jim Wilson and Kelly Foster both of Mansfield, Chuck Barber and Gary (Electa) Foster both of Galion, and Lance (Missy) Foster of Lake Charles, LA; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John Mapes.
