Charlean (Edwards) Williams

Charlean (Edwards) Williams, 63, of Mansfield, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014, following a lengthy illness. Charlean was born on October 30, 1951, in Cincinnati, to Charles B. and Lucille (Turner) Edwards. She was employed for over 20 years at The Center for Individual and Family Services. She loved her family, loved doing laundry as it relaxed her, and enjoyed being with her grandchildren. Charlean was a member of the Mansfield East Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, and was baptized on July 9, 1976. She was a good teacher of her faith and enjoyed being in the field ministry. Charlean was loyal to her God to the end. She is survived by her mother, Lucille Edwards of Mansfield; her four children, Anthony (Yolanda) Williams of Cincinnati, Christopher Allen Williams of Columbus, and April Nicole Williams and Cameron Alexander (Lori) Williams both of Mansfield; twelve grandchildren, Tiara, Tiandra, Troy, Tory, Taylor, Travon, Braden, Darrian, Aiyana, Quinton, Braxton, and Avionna; two brothers, Burt (Jackie) Edwards of Mansfield, and Stanley J. Edwards of Cleveland; two sisters, Joy Edwards and Shirley (John) Davis, both of Mansfield; two aunts, Edna Murray and Hazel Turner both of Cincinnati; many beloved nieces and nephews; grand-nieces and grand-nephews and friends. Charlean was preceded in death by her father. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield.
