Connie Maurine Cook

Connie Maurine (Elkins) Cook, 70, of Mansfield, passed away Monday morning, November 28, 2016.Connie was born June 15, 1946 in Elkins, West Virginia and was the daughter of Charles Ray and Rebecca Julia (Mounts) Elkins. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. Connie liked to go to garage sales and shopping. She is survived by her husband, Evert Cook; three children, Tammy (Charles) Gantz of Mansfield, Steven (Laurie) Cook of Shiloh, and Chad (Lisa) Cook of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Cody (Brittany) Cook, Krista Cook, Charles Ray Gantz, II, and Jade Gantz; one great-grandchild on the way; one brother, Charles (Janet) Elkins of Mansfield; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, including special nieces, Nancy Jarvis and Pam Cole, and special nephew, Rusty Handwork. Connie was preceded in death by her parents; and three siblings, Violet Handwork, Fred Elkins, and Don Elkins. Calling hours will be from 12-1 p.m.1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Hank Webb officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.
