Dalan Christopher Whisler

Dalan Christopher Whisler, 35, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.Dalan was born February 15, 1981 in Shelby, Ohio, the son of Maryann (Utt) Perry. The most important people in Dalan's life were his mother and his children, and he loved them very much. He was employed at Whitey's Auto Mall and was a mechanic. He enjoyed working on cars in his spare time. Dalan is survived by his mother and step-father, Maryann and Joe Perry; five children, Sashia, Darias, Dalan, Trevor, and Arianna; his maternal grandmother, Joyce Shaffer; numerous aunts and uncles, including his maternal aunts, Bev (Tim) Hanshaw and Pam Utt and his maternal uncle, Bill (Karen) Utt; his ex-step-father, Earl Lester; three step-siblings, Earl Ray Lester, Jeremy Lester, and Anita Lester; and many cousins.Dalan was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Jason Hess; maternal grandfather, Alford Utt; and paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Joanne Whisler.Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2016, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield.
