Danielle JoAnn Alt

Danielle JoAnn Alt, 46, of Kissimmee, FL and formerly of Mansfield, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, following a short illness with heart failure.Danielle was born on January 1, 1972, in Norwalk, to Daniel A. Alt and Cynthia Jo VanWagner-Alt. While living in Mansfield, she was employed with Blockbuster Videos and Mechanics Bank. She had her dream job for the last five years, being employed at Universal Studios in Florida. From her large collection, you could tell that she loved the movies and at one point wanted to be a movie critic. She also enjoyed rollerblading, traveling, and the ocean. She was thrilled when she was chosen as an extra for the Shawshank Redemption movie.She is survived by her parents, Cynthia VanWagner-Alt of Mansfield and Daniel (Jo) Alt of Granville, IL; brother, Danny (Kaitlin) VanWagner of Mansfield; niece, Elysiah Ann VanWagner and nephew, XZavian Dan VanWagner; paternal grandmother, Jeannene Alt of Akron; maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Jerry Mullens of Loudonville; paternal uncle, Jeff (Cheryl) Alt of Carolina Shores, NC; paternal aunt, Ellen Alt (Bill Witt) of Mogadore, OH; maternal uncle, David VanWagner of Craig, CO; maternal aunts, Cheryl (Jr) Hamons of Willard, Connie (Terry) Roy of Mt. Gilead, and Tami Spoon of Mansfield; cousins, Christopher (Sarah) Alt of Alexander, AR, Rachel Alt of Bryant AR, Amanda (Max) Moralez, Caleb (Kayla) VanWagner, Kristine(Tyler) Pogline, and Leah (Robbie) Checketts all of CO, Jessica (Jake) Rietschlin of Shelby, Jarett (Beth) Hamons and Erin (Chad) Poston both of Willard, Joshua VanWagner of Mansfield, Gretchen (Jason) Holladay of Spring, TX, Jonathan Roy of Nashville, TN, Sarra (Jason) Wilfong of Bellville, and many more cousins. Danielle was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Richard Dan VanWagner; her paternal grandfather, James Alt; and her maternal uncle, Richard Ray VanWagner.Calling hours will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2018, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield.
