Donna J. McIntire Heuss

Donna J. McIntire Heuss, 67, of Mansfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on July 7, 2014, following a lengthy illness. Donna was born on April 24, 1947, in Millersburg, OH, to Donovan D. and Blanche E. Lifer McIntire. She was an active member of Community Bible Church, where she worked in the nursery, and participated with the AWANA children's program. She enjoyed flower arranging, gardening, cooking and sewing. She also did some traveling with her husband of 32 years, Glenn "Al" Heuss. They especially loved the Smokey Mountains and Lake Erie. Along with her husband, Al, she is survived by two daughters, Donna Sue (Pam Power) Miller of Columbus and Deanna (Darryl) Yoder of Perrysville; two step-daughters, Kathryn Blakely of Perrysville and Vicky (George) Murphy of Mansfield; eleven step-grandchildren including step-grandson Luke, who was like a son to Donna and Al; five step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Ellen Zehner of Mansfield; one brother, Floyd (Doris) McIntire of Lucas; and one brother-in-law, Paul (Susan) Heuss of Fredericktown. Donna was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Henry McIntire. Calling hours will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2014, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at the funeral home, with Pastor Mel Hobson officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Union Cemetery, Perrysville.
