Reverend Frank Dunkle, 80, of Lexington, was called home to meet our Lord on Saturday, November 29, 2014. Frank was born on August 15, 1934 in Zanesville, Ohio and was brought up in a children's home. He later found the Lord and felt the call to become a minister of the Gospel. Frank attended Circleville Nazarene College and became a minister of God for 58 years. He was God's servant and led many in his congregations to the Savior. Frank leaves behind his wife, Phillis Young-Dunkle, of 60 years; two daughters, Debbie Schaffer and Deanna Mecurio; two sons, Jeff Dunkle and Ronnie Bankes; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents and many other family and friends. Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2014 at Mansfield Baptist Temple, 752 N. Stewart Road, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Robert J. Kurtz officiating. He will be laid to rest in Oak Grove Memorial Park, Lexington.
