Gregory Ward Kabbaz

Gregory Ward Kabbaz, 55, of Mansfield, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at OhioHealth Mansfield. Gregory was born August 23, 1961 in Teaneck, New Jersey and was the son of Leon Michael and Babette Madeline (Berger) Kabbaz. He was a wonderful and dedicated father and husband. He was a talented, self-taught musician. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and his pets. He had a heart of gold; he always put others before himself. He was a member of Cornerstone Grace Brethren Church. He stood firm in his faith and was not afraid to share it with others. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Shelia (Fields) Kabbaz of Mansfield; two daughters, Reaunna (Ryan) Etzel of Mansfield and Katelynn Butcher of Columbus; son, Noah Kabbaz of Mansfield; two brothers, Bob (Mary Ann) Kabbaz of Columbus and Bill Kabbaz of Mansfield; sister Mary Pat (Bill) Ashley of TN; granddaughter, Aubrey Etzel; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister-in-law, Julie Kabbaz. Calling hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2017 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield, OH. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Lester Vnasdale officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.
