Hazel V. (Mosier) Mauk

Hazel V. (Mosier) Mauk, 87, of Mansfield, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015 following a lengthy illness. Hazel was born on September 3, 1927 in Grahn, KY, to Jessie and Rhoda (Blevins) Mosier. She was a homemaker and her most important pleasures were her family and faith. She is survived by eight children, Saundra K. Carroll of Mansfield, James R. "Rick" (Debra) Mauk of Perrysville, Rockie L. (Sandy) Mauk, Timothy G. "Tim" (Denise) Mauk, Drema A. (Keith) Allen, and Kandy L. (John Costello) Hipp all of Mansfield, Darren R. Mauk of WA, and Rodney L. (Lawrence) Mauk of Mansfield; 18 grandchildren, David Carroll, Andrea Mauk, Derek (Helenea) Mauk, Erica Ackerman, Lori (Amanda) Mauk, Rockie Mauk, Jr., Ashton Mauk, Lucas (Sarah) Mauk, Ashley Mauk, Devin Hipp, Tyler Hipp, Johnny (Lauren) Mauk, Jesse Mauk, Sissy Mauk, Corinna Mauk, Nellie Mauk, Sophie Mauk, and Chica Mauk; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, James V. Mauk; stillborn son, Bobby D. Mauk; son-in-law, Lowell C. Carroll; and two siblings, Alma Dickerson and Stearl Mosier. Calling hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2015 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield.
