JB Taylor

JB Taylor, 86, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 30, 2015, at his home. JB was born on November 14, 1928, in Brownsville, TN, to Osborne and Lora (Taylor) Taylor. JB loved to spend time with his family. He enjoyed playing cards and loved to eat and travel. JB is survived by five children, Juan Carter of CO, Latonya Palmer and Joan Palmer both of OH, Joy Bounds of Georgia, and Shirley Currie of TN; three siblings, Robert (Ernestine) Taylor of Decatur, IL, Josephine Hines and Lula Mae Jarrett, both of Brownsville, TN; ten grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; special cousins, Al and Warlene Fowler; and many friends. JB was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Leora Green and Brownetta Taylor; and three brothers, Clarence Currie, Fred T. Taylor, and RV Taylor. Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2015 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Memorial services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Clinton N. Hearns officiating.
