Joseph Michael Allen Etzwiler

Joseph Michael Allen Etzwiler, 25, of Crestline, died of natural causes on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at his home. Joseph was born December 1, 1989 in Mansfield, the only child of Michael Earl and Sherry Rene (Blevins) Etzwiler. If anyone ever needed proof that the good die young, they can find the truth in the untimely passing of Joseph. He was kind-hearted and gentle, an easy and relaxing person to talk to and loved explaining and learning about any kind of computer or telephone technology. Once you met him, you knew he was a very special person. Joseph graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 2009. He had worked at the Ashland Road Kroger store, Meijer, and Target, before finding his dream job at Best Buy in Ontario. Joseph is survived by his mother, Sherry R. Etzwiler (Ernie Woodbridge) of Mansfield; his grandfather, Joe E. (Saundra Young) Blevins of Mansfield; step-grandfather, Glen Jarvis of Mansfield; aunt, Teresa Blevins (Eddie) Tackett of Olive Hill, Kentucky; maternal great aunt, Ruby Blevins Holbrook of Ashland; his mother's life-long friend, Brenda Bradley Reichardt; Blevins family friend, Vicki Barber of Mansfield; many great-aunts and cousins.He also leaves behind his three best friends, he grew up with and considered brothers, Evan (Ashley) Brown of Galion, Steve Sanders of Perrysville, and "Big Joe" Hooper of Jacksonville, Florida. Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Michael Etzwiler, who died on September 12, 2003; and his maternal grandmother, June Porter Blevins Jarvis, who died on March 13, 2014. Calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, OH. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Robert J. Kurtz officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
