Kenneth J Piker

Kenneth J. Piker Sr, 69, of Lucas, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016.Kenneth was born on June 1, 1947, in East Liverpool, OH, to Edward W. and Marjorie A. (McConnell) Piker, and grew up in North Olmsted. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy where he completed two tours in Vietnam on the destroyer Shelton, and later on the aircraft carrier USS Lexington. He was previously employed with Mansfield Tire, and worked for Artesian Crane for 18 years, retiring in 2005 from Corpad. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and enjoyed woodworking and motorcycles. He married his sweetheart, Linda (Trimm) Piker on July 13, 1968, and she survives. Along with his wife, Linda, he is survived by four children, Nicki R. (Fred) Horton of Mansfield, Charity L. (Jason) Dillman of Plymouth, Faith A. (Chris) Courtney of Ashland, and Kenneth J. (Margarita) Piker Jr of Houston, TX; eleven grandchildren, Tiffany (Jesse) Isaacs, Dylan Mullins, Brandyn (Kady) Mullins, Abbi Coy, Jacob Piker, Brianna Vincent, Kenneth Piker III, Gabbi Horton, Lexi Courtney, Jordan Vincent, and AJ Horton; three great-grandchildren, Tryston Isaacs, Sophie Isaacs, and Silas Mullins; three siblings, Bruce Piker and Cindy Lukonatis, both of Houston, TX, and Lisa (Mike) Campbell of Mansfield; and special lifelong friend and brother-in-law, Danny Trimm. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents. Calling hours will be from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield.
