Linda D. Dials

Linda D. Dials, 60, of Mansfield, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016, following a lengthy illness.Linda was born on March 16, 1956 in Mansfield to Foster L. and Eileen P. (Sheriff) Dials. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandbabies and her dogs. Linda was a fantastic cook, and made everything from scratch. Everyone especially enjoyed "Linda's chocolate cake" with Carmel icing. She also enjoyed going to races and watching sports, especially football.She is survived by two children, Robert "Bobby" Dials and Mary (Brad) Lawhorn, both of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Bradley Lawhorn, Jr. and Brinlee Lawhorn, both of Mansfield; and two brothers, Foster Dials, II of Plymouth and William "Buck" (Dawn) Dials of Ashland.Linda was preceded in death by her parents; a sister and brother-in-law, Carol (Danny) Thompson; a brother, Tim Dials; a sister-in-law, Joy Dials; her best friend, Nancy Adkins; and her canine baby, Pooh.Calling hours will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Ave East, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2016 at Faith Chapel, 674 Hannah Road, Mansfield, with Pastor Bruce Copley officiating.
