Matthew A. Stafford, 28, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 12, 2016.Matthew was born on August 12, 1988, in Columbus, to Matthew A. Stafford and Amy C. (Huggins) Pifer. He loved his family and was a good brother to his little sister. He also loved his dog Kilo. Matthew had many good friends, and was known for being a hard worker. He enjoyed playing video games.He is survived by his wife, Ashley (Finnerty) Stafford; his daughter, Aubrey Rose Stafford of Mansfield; three sisters, Trinity Stafford of Shelby, and Amber Mulvane and Melissa Huggins, both of Mansfield; his maternal grandmother, Betty Flannery of Mansfield; his paternal grandmother, Kathryn Stafford of Mansfield; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.Matthew was preceded in death by his infant sister, Terri Diane Stafford; his maternal grandfather, Clyde Huggins; his paternal grandfather, Cliff Stafford; and his special cousin, Christopher Stafford.Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2016, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Rob Kurtz officiating. Burial will take place at Mansfield Memorial Park.
