Melody Ruth Pryor

Melody Ruth Pryor, 53, of Ashland, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Cleveland Clinic, after a courageous battle of liver disorder. Melody was born March 23, 1961 in Ashland. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-nephews. Melody had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them; she always said that friends are forever. She liked to go to garage sales, races, car shows, and fishing. She is survived by two sons, Gregory Allan and Tyler Wayne Kithcart of Ashland; two grandchildren, Trevor M. Kithcart of Ashland and Tyler A. Kithcart of Galion; foster mother, Gail Moore of Ashland; Melody's fiancé, Fred Grimmer of Ashland; three sisters, Deborah Sanders, Mary Harper, and Judy (Howard) Ogle, all of Ashland; two foster brothers, Kevin Moore and Brian Moore; four nieces, Krystle (Raymond) Buckland and Aleasha George all of Ashland, Bonnie Flurry and Alison Flurry both of Washington; one nephew, Jesse (Alexanderia) Kendall of Hillsboro, OR; and two great-nephews, Raymond and Kristopher Buckland. Melody was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis L. and Bonita E. (Sponsler) Pryor, Sr.; and one brother, Lewis L. Pryor, Jr. A memorial celebration of life will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Ashland Faith Family Church, 819 Scott Street, Ashland, OH.
