Patricia Jane Jeffrey

Patricia J. "Pat" (Coldwell) Jeffrey, 78, of Shelby, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, following a brief illness.Pat was born on October 17, 1937, in Shelby, to Harry W. and Mabel M. (McKibbin) Coldwell. She married Don Jeffrey on December 24 1986, and they shared over 29 years together. Pat enjoyed selling tickets for the Shelby Athletic Department and also loved to watch The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Shelby Whippets.Pat was known for her patriotism, and she and Don were involved with the Richland County Joint Veterans Burial Detail. Pat took the phone calls, kept the records and organized the burials for our local Veterans. Along with her husband, Don, she is survived by three children, Bluesilver of Bellfountaine, Sallie (Scott) Moore of Plymouth, and Kenny (Debbie) Kelley of Louisa, KY; grandchildren, Justin and Ashley, Josh, Jeromie and Jonathon, and Kenny; great-grandchildren, Bobby, Makayla, and Aubrey Bowmen; three siblings, William (Carolyn) Coldwell of CA, Robert (Shirley) Coldwell of Bucyrus, and Esther Coldwell of Dubois, PA; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; and three children, Jacy, Jimmie, and Robbie.Calling hours will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 14, 2016, at the funeral home.
