Pauline A Clay

Pauline A. (Reeves) Clay, 87, of Mansfield, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 29, 2018. Pauline was born on November 16, 1930, in Upper Tygart, KY to Selvia and Bertha (Perry) Reeves. She was a member of Dean Road Freewill Baptist Church, and loved going to church. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed the times that she could spend with her husband, taking walks in the woods.She is survived by five children, Alita Clay of Olive Hill, KY, Larry (Joyce) Clay of Lucasville, David Clay of Columbus, Jeff (Kathy) Clay of Mansfield, and Trisha (Tony) Jackson of Crestline; two siblings, Robert Reeves of Mansfield and Cloma Meredeth of Mt. Sterling; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ruby Oatis Clay; twin brother, Paul Reeves, brother Omel Ivan Reeves, and sister, Nora Haywood; one son, Vincent Clay; and two daughters, Marsha Clay and Joyce (Clay) Slayton.Calling hours will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Brother Gary Lambert officiating. Calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018, at Duvall and Moore Funeral Home, 149 Whitt St, P.O. Box 526, Olive Hill, KY 41164. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
