Randall D. Holt

Randall D. Holt, age 53, of Columbus, Ohio passed Tuesday morning, September 20, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Randy was the son of Franklin and Jessie (Keene) Holt. Randy was born on August 11, 1963 in Washington State. He was a 1981 graduate of Plymouth High School. Randy has been a member of the Church of Christ since 1990 and attended Park Road Church of Christ in Columbus, Ohio with his family. He loves his Park Road church family and wanted to say thank you to them all. He was the Director of Loss Prevention for the corporate office of Value City for 25 years. He loved to target shoot and ride his Harley (to the surprise of all of us). His favorite holiday was Halloween. He was the hero to all the neighborhood kids. Randy never knew a child that didn't fall in love with him and him with them. Randy married Angela (Beverly) Holt on April 29, 1989. She has loved him since 8th grade and she will continue to love him till she gets to heaven and beyond. His greatest joy was being the dad to his three precious daughters Brittany Erin, Erin Nicole, and Lauren Brittany Holt. They make him proud every day and always will. Randy's request was to be sure his brother Gary knew how much he appreciated him sitting by his side endlessly for the past two months and how much he loved him for that. He also wanted Dane to know how much he loved him and thanks for being his best friend. He is survived by his wife, Angie (Beverly) Holt of Columbus, Ohio; his daughters Erin and Lauren Holt of Columbus, Ohio; his father Franklin Holt of Ontario, Ohio; his brothers David (Kathi) Holt of Waldo, Ohio, Jeff (Sarah) Holt of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Gary (Karen) Holt of Hilliard, Ohio; as well as many nieces and nephews; and all of his Beverly family and father-in-law Donald Beverly. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jessie (Keene) Holt of Plymouth, Ohio; his daughter, Brittany Erin Holt of Columbus, Ohio; and his mother-in-law, Patricia (Justice) Beverly. Services will be as follows at the Church of Christ, 201 Plymouth Street, Plymouth, OH 44865: Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to open on Thursday, September 22, 2016, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23, and 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2016. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, with Brother Don Beverly and Brother Jerry Tackett officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Plymouth.
