Timothy Lee Rose, 55, of Cocoa, Florida, passed away February 20, 2015 following a lengthy illness. Timothy was born on August 11, 1959 in Mansfield and was the son of Jackie Rose and Marcella Rose Barnett. He graduated from Mansfield Senior High School. He loved spending time with family. Timothy was always friendly and never knew a stranger. He enjoyed spending his summers in Ohio on the boat at Pleasant Hill with family and friends. After retiring, he moved to Florida to enjoy the warm sun and the ocean. Timothy loved spending his days on the beach or at the lake with a fishing pole in this hand. His grandsons were his pride and joy. He enjoyed spending time outdoors with them and taking them to McDonalds for cherry pies after school. He is survived by his mother, Marcella Rose Barnett; one daughter, Amanda (Keith) Williams; two grandsons, Mason and Aiden Williams; one brother, John (Kristi) Rose; one step-brother, Mark (Maggie) Barnett of Mansfield; two sisters, Sandy (Jerry) Blevins of Mansfield and Laura Oakley of Cocoa, Florida; one step-sister, Marilyn (Carl) Thompson of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jackie Rose; step-father, Arnold Barnett; and step-brother, Michael Barnett. Calling hours will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park, Lexington, Ohio.
