Betty J. (Davis) Hellinger

Betty J. (Davis) Hellinger, 82, of Mansfield, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020, following a lengthy illness.

Betty was born on October 21, 1937, in Enterprise, KY, to Lionel S. and Stella (Conn) Davis.  She was a member of Hanna Rd Church of God, and married Dale Hellinger, who had preceded her in death.  Betty loved visiting with her family and friends, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and loved her dog, Heidi.

She is survived by her children, Sharon (Dennis) Northover and Brenda K. (Frank Vaughn) Collins, both of Mansfield, Ronald Callahan of KY, and Terry Callahan of Bellville: grandchildren, Kristopher (Heather) Callahan, Terra Morgan, Tiffany Callahan, Brittany (Christopher) Holmes, Dennis Northover, II, and Shelby Shade; several great-grandchildren; sister, Rose (Marty) Biddle of Mansfield and Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her son, Glen Davis; granddaughter, Nova Shade; and siblings, Wayne Davis, Chalmer S. Davis, James Davis, Harold Davis, Talmadge Davis, and Wilma J. Davis.

Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2020 at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield, OH.  Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Hank Webb officiating.  Burial will be held in Mansfield Cemetery.
