Loretta May (Sperzel) Foulks, 89, of Mansfield, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019 at her home following a long illness. Loretta was born November 29, 1929 in Mansfield, daughter of the late Jacob and Cinderella Mae (Sayre) Sperzel. She was a big Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. Loretta was a fantastic cook, who was known for her Christmas cookies and popcorn balls. Loretta is survived by her five children, Robert (Jean) Foulks, Charlotte Smith, Cathy Fackler, Brian Foulks, and Walter (Cheryl) Foulks, Jr.; twenty grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; sixteen great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Deborah Foulks and Pauline Hummel; twelve special grandchildren; one special great-grandchild; one brother, Johnny (Shirley) Sperzel; and four nephews. Along with her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Foulks, Sr.; one sister, Betty Redden; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Calling hours will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Tracy officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
