Maria (Marisa) Luisa Bueno Jordan

Maria Luisa Bueno Jordan, more familiarly known as Marisa, departed her earthly life on November 14, 2019. She was born on March 21, 1930 in Gibraltar (BOT). She is the daughter of John and Luisa Bueno who predeceased her.

Throughout her life she held fast to her belief that she would spend eternity with Christ her Savior. Now that time has come.

She is survived by her children Yvonne (John) Stiles and their sons Jason and Michael, Jeannette Jordan and her son Nathan, Teresa (Cy) Vantassell and their daughters April and Jamie, son Kenneth Jordan, and great grandson Jesse. In addition, she is survived by her sister Consuelo (Alan) Punchar, brother Julio (Karen) Bueno, niece and nephews David, Alan, Keith, Gregg, Aaron, Gillian, and Erik, and great-nieces and great nephews Kerry, Jason, Riley, Brennan, Dylan and Sarina. She was preceded in death by her brother John.

During her lifetime she lived in Gibraltar, Spain, England, Ireland, New York, Florida, Colorado, and finally Ohio. She was a seasoned traveler who visited much of Europe and Israel.  She was a woman of strong Christian faith who deeply believed in the message of Christ’s redemption.

She will be buried at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery in Shelby, Ohio. Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield, is handling the arrangements.
