Marilyn Stafford Obituary

Marilyn (Hoover) Stafford passed away Monday, October 21, 2019 at the age of 85.

She was survived by daughter, Lynn (Sal) Torresso; daughter, Sharon (Mitch) Conant; son, Douglas (Joy) Stafford; three grandchildren, Elizabeth (Wyatt) Smith, Mike (Paige) Stafford, and Micah Stafford; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marjorie Hawkins.

Marilyn was a member of the Ridgeway Church of God in Mansfield, where she loved singing in the choir.  A life member of the Girl Scouts of America, she enjoyed camping and fishing.  She and her husband, Benny, loved to travel, making many friends across the country.  She loved taking photographs of everything she saw.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benny; her brother, Harold Hoover, Jr.; and grandson, PJ Fisher.

Marilyn will be sorely missed by family, friends, and the nursing staff of Western Reserve Masonic Community in Medina, Ohio.

There will be no service per Marilyn’s request.
