Myron Dean Foncannon

Myron D. Foncannon, 48, of Mansfield, passed away from a battle with heart disease on Thursday, September 5, 2019. Myron was born on June 18, 1971, in Mansfield, to Terry L. and Arlene (Gollihue) Foncannon. He was a family man and enjoyed doing things with them, including fishing, vacations to North Carolina, and playing poker. He loved his grandchildren and also liked sharks. His best friend for 32 years was his wife, Kandi (Weiss) Foncannon, and they were married September 18, 1993. Along with his wife Kandi, he is survived by his children: daughter and son-in-law, Taryn and Steven Byrd, son and daughter-in-law, Cordaro and Isis Foncannon, son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Samantha Foncannon, and son, Juannell Jefferson; grandchildren, Olivia Byrd, Paytan Byrd, Matalyn Byrd, Texas Sanchez, Drew Sanchez, Makenzie Foncannon, Mathew Foncannon, and Mercy Foncannon; mother, Arlene Foncannon; siblings, Laura Barber, Angie (Rob)Hickok, Heather Foncannon, Alan Spore, Jim (Roberta) Layland, Ron (Anita) Weiss, Tim Layland, Jamie (Bill) Finley, and Carla Totman; and nieces and nephews, Amber Adkins, Alyssa Cline, Justin Foncannon, Eric Scarborough, Devin Jackson, Courtney Frontz, Dana Sweet, Ashley Sweet, Greg Sweet, Matthew Myers, Josh Layland, Wes Weiss, Nate Craley, Brittney Finley, Brandy Britt, Brent Finley, Bobby Finley, Cody Totman, Chad Totman, Chadric Spore, Trevor Spore, and Jordan Spore. Myron was preceded in death by his father, Terry Foncannon and son, Dillion Foncannon. Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Dan Clouse officiating. Burial will be at Mansfield Cemetery.
