Rusty N. Lugthart

Rusty N. Lugthart, Sr., 46, of Mansfield, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019.

Rusty was born on July 7, 1973 in Mansfield to Dixie C. (Steagall) Lugthart.  Rusty loved his family and would do anything that you would ask him to do.  He was a very happy go lucky person.  He loved to work on cars and ride his motorcycle.  Rusty was a great brother and loving husband.

He is survived by his wife, Christie (Wade) Lugthart; children, Rusty Lugthart, Jr., Alyssia Lugthart, Shala Payne, Siera Wade, and Aaron Wade; grandchildren, Chase Lee Cole, Dru Calderhead, and Sebastian Betncourt; sisters, Rosa and Mike Hively, Brenda and Dale Spencer, Pam Shepherd, Sarah and David Thompson, and Kristy Lugthart and Matt Corey; and many nephews and nieces.

Rusty was preceded in death by his mom, Dixie Lugthart; and infant sister, Phyllisann Sparks.

Calling hours will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2019, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Burial will be at Mansfield Cemetery.
