Alice M. (Karsmizki) Leinard

Alice M. (Karsmizki) Leinard, 91, of Mansfield, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard.Alice was born on December 31, 1926, in Mansfield, to Leo and Sarah (Kurry) Karsmizki. She had been a Registered Nurse at Mansfield General Hospital. Alice was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, and enjoyed being with her family. She also enjoyed reading, cooking, and flowers. She enjoyed many years of dancing with her husband and in her younger years, ice skating.She is survived by four children, Dan (Peggy) Leinard of Fredericktown, Sherry Davis of Mansfield, Tanya Leinard and Heidi (Bill) Garriott both of Cleveland; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her brother, Ray Karsmizki of Mansfield.Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Rob, Joe, and Dave Karsmizki.Private funeral services were held at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield, with Pastor Bonnie Peltomaa officiating.
