Brandon Michael Ewers, 42, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly, on Wednesday, February 6, 2019.Brandon was born on January 6, 1977, in Mansfield, to Roger Leonard Ewers II and Kathy Diane (McDaniel) Johnson. He was employed at Big Daddy's Drive Thru. Brandon enjoyed fishing, hunting, singing, playing his guitar, playing pool, camping, drawing, and hanging out with his friends.He is survived by his mother and step-father, Kathy and David Johnson of Mansfield; his children, Heather Marie (Daniel) Duncan of Mareno Valley, CA, Stormy Truitt of NC, and Savannah Stamper of Garrison, KY; grandchildren, Aubree and Drake; sister Jennifer Cooper of Mansfield; step-brothers and step-sisters; paternal grandmother, Opal Ewers of Mansfield; nephews Austin Cooper, Hunter Cooper, Mason Cooper, and special nephew, Cody Johnson; paternal aunts, Gina and Peggy; maternal aunt, Brenda (Tim) Garrison of Mansfield; maternal uncle, Robert McDaniel of CA; his employer, Phil Troyer, whom Brandon loved as a father; and many cousins, friends, and family.Brandon was preceded in death by his father, Roger Leonard Ewers II; maternal grandparents, Benjamin Rosco McDaniel and Alice M. McDaniel Cooper; paternal grandfather, Roger Leonard Ewers I; and cousins, John Benjamin Hicks, Maryann Ritchie, McKenzie Hicks; and best friends, Lisa Carrol, Leigh Anne Lovely, and Emmit Ray.Calling hours will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Springmill Cemetery.
