Darlene Jean (Hively) Tackett

Darlene Jean (Hively) Tackett, 71, of West Vanlear, KY, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019. Darlene was born on June 11, 1948, in Mansfield, to Carl V. and Ruth A. (Oswalt) Hively. She loved to go to church, and enjoyed yard sales, getting her nails painted, and chicken, especially KFC. She is survived by her husband, Edgar Tackett; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Joe Kleri; stepchildren and their spouses, James and Trish Tackett, Andy Pryor, and Shelby and Stephen Burch; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Hively; brother and his wife, Larry and Kathy Hively; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elvira Simmons; and brothers Raymond Hively and Jack Hively. Calling hours will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Union Cemetery, Perrysville.
