Garry Alan Bowman

Garry A. Bowman, 67, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly, on Sunday, May 27, 2018. Garry was born on September 8, 1950, in Mansfield, to Maxon C. and Mila J. (Bush) Bowman. He was proud to serve his country in the U.S. Army, and loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He loved to ride his Harley's watch Nascar, and camp. Garry was a lifetime member of the American Legion, a lifetime member of the Patriot Guards, a four year commander two year district commander and lifetime member of the VFW.He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Debi Bowman; three sons, Shane Bowman Sr, Colt Bowman, and Cody Bowman; grandsons, Trevor Bowman, Skylar Bowman, Jordan Bowman, Shane Bowman Jr, Braeden Bowman, Caden Bowman, and Cayson Bowman; granddaughter Amyha Bowman; three sisters, Peggy L. Fliger, Vicki M. (Charles) Bletz, and Patti L. Oswalt (Gary Bratcher).; two brothers, Jason R. Bowman and Alan E Bowman; and numerous nieces and nephews.Garry was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather Leroy M. Bowman; son, Heath G. Bowman; brother, Max Bowman Jr; two brothers-in-law, Ronald L. Fliger and Glen V. Oswalt; maternal grandparents, Ray and Ruby (Parker) Bush and paternal granandparents, Charles and Stella (Stahl) Bowman.Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mansfield Cemetery, with full Honors being performed by the RC Joint Veterans Burial Detail.
