Jeffery L. Clifton, 61, of Mansfield, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at Ohio Health Mansfield, after a lengthy illness. Jeffery was born on March 2, 1957, in Mansfield, to Herman L. and Reatha J. (Swanger) Clifton. He was a longtime employee of Gandert Door Co. Jeffery enjoyed NASCAR, watching old westerns and football, primarily the Cleveland Brown. He loved animals, especially his three dogs, Buddy, Sassy, and Doodles.He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Karen Uscio; six sons, Jacob Hergatt, Joshua Hergatt, Matt Kash, Kyle Clifton, Coty Clifton, and Jerrod Clifton; step daughter Nicole Krause, numerous grandchildren; his mother, Reatha Clifton; brother, Roy (Regina) Clifton, both of Mansfield; three sisters, Tina (Randy) Heinberger, Cathy (Charles) Garman, and Joyce Smith, all of Mansfield; and many nieces and nephews.Jeffery was preceded in death by his father, Herman Clifton; and his son, Russell Thompson.Calling hours will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield.Online condolences at www.wernergompf.com To send a memorial gift to the family of Jeffery L Clifton please visit our Sympathy Store.
