Jewel Gasparac, 64, of Shiloh, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 1, 2018.Jewel was born on July 8, 1954, in Willard to Carl and Ruth A. (Whitley) Gasparac. She was a graduate of Plymouth High School and was employed for 25 years at MTD Products in Shelby, where she was known for her incredible work ethic and where she made many lifelong friends. Jewel was best known for her huge heart, generosity, and for taking care of everyone around her. She loved gardening and flowers, being outside, cooking, shopping, and most importantly spending time and having long conversations with family and friends. She really enjoyed spending time in the cemetery, visiting and decorating loved ones graves. Jewel was known for spoiling others with her wonderful cooking and baking skills, and passing those family recipes on to others. Jewel loved children, and made countless special memories with her beloved grandchildren, great-nieces and great-nephews. Those memories and her love will forever be treasured. Jewel was truly one in a lifetime, an angel on earth, and now an angel in heaven.She is survived by her son, Jeremy Gasparac and special nephew Aaron Gasparac, both of Shiloh; grandchildren, Zane Gasparac of Shiloh and Ciarra Gasparac of Greenwich; siblings, Rose "Odgie" Kilgore and Randy (Sandy King) Gasparac both of Shiloh, Jack (Charlene) Gasparac of Plymouth, and David (Cathy) Gasparac and Susan Ohl of Shelby; other nieces and nephews, Kiesha (Dave) Podesta of Chandler, AZ, Michelle Cunningham of Plymouth, Briana (Gregg) Davis of Willard, Ericka Carroll of Shelby, Crystal (Mike) Handshoe of Dayton, Ashley Ohl of Chandler, AZ, Sean Sled of NC, Lucas Gasparac of Dayton, Sarah Bailey of Columbus, and Jessica Church of NC; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Carl Gasparac, Jr., niece, Kristin Gasparac; and nephew, Brian Handshoe.Calling hours will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Northern United Baptist Church, 5205 St. Rt. 39 South, Tiro, Ohio. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the church with Pastor Phillip Gayheart officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Shiloh.
