Pauline (Hawn) Liersemann, 96, of Mansfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 26, 2019.Pauline was born on June 2, 1922, in New River, TN, to Perry A. and Addie (Wilson) Hawn. She was a "Rosie the Riveter" during WWII. Pauline was a member of Mansfield Baptist Temple and taught Sunday School Kindergarten for 37 years. She enjoyed traveling, working Bible Word Searches , and was a survivor of the Great Depression. She is survived by her beloved Chihuahua, Jo-Jo; two children, Richard Liersemann of Lexington and Tina Marie Goldsmith of Mansfield; nine grandchildren, Ben Goldsmith of Mansfield, Andrew (Sarah) Goldsmith of New Albany, Hollie (David Eder of Wels, Austria, Ryan (Dan Albers ) Liersemann of Dublin, Ross (Ashley) Liersemann of Lexington, Rachael Richards of Powell, Clint Liersemann of Lexington, Stephanie Messer of Whitehouse, and Jeremy Stevens of Heath; and thirteen great-granchildren. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Liersemann; two sisters; and five brothers.Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Mansfield Baptist Temple, 752 North Stewart Rd, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Rob Kurtz officiating. Burial will take place at Mansfield Memorial Park.
