Alene Collins Head

Alene Collins Head, 68, of Mt. Gilead, went home to be with the Lord Monday, March 31, 2014. Alene was born May 24, 1945 in Middletown, OH and was the daughter of the late Victor Collins and Gladia Walters Woolard. She had retired from Therm-O-Disc, where she had worked as an assembler. Alene enjoyed crocheting and doing arts and crafts. Alene is survived by seven siblings, Ethel Morris, Glena Hershberger, Billy V. (Donna) Collins, Larry Dean (Vicky) Collins, Lucille (Alan) Brinegar, Gary Lee (Anita) Collins, and Charles M. Collins all of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Head, on September 20, 2012; her father, Victor Collins; her mother and step-father, Gladia and Robert Woolard; brother, Bobby James Collins; and brother-in-law, David Hershberger. A graveside service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2014 in Mansfield Cemetery. Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD. is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
