Allen K. Hamilton

Allen K. Hamilton, 70, of Mansfield, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 12, 2024.

Allen was born December 29, 1953 in Mansfield, to Terrence T. and Betty R. (Bloomfield) Hamilton. He married his sweetheart, Carolyn (Gillum) Hamilton on July 15, 1972. He worked as a fabricator in the welding industry. Allen was a member of New Life Community Church, and he loved and served the Lord. Allen loved his family and spent time with them. He was known as a man of integrity. He enjoyed working in his garden and canning the produce from his garden. He also loved making jams and jellies; and enjoyed riding motorcycles, grandchildren’s sports, and old tractors.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Hamilton; children, Ginger Renee (Neil) Thomas of Haines, Alaska, and Chad Allen (Laura) Hamilton of Mansfield; grandchildren, Gabrielle (Brandon) Rokusek, twins, Austin Thomas and Clint Thomas, Evan Hamilton, Owen Hamilton, and Melanie (Ronnie) Olynyk; great-grandson, Emmett Rokusek; sister, Teresa (Rev. Keith) Grove of Indianapolis, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews that he truly loved.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents.

Calling hours will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
