Amy Lynne Yates, 35, of Mansfield, passed away from complications of pneumonia on Sunday, February 11, 2018.Amy was born on October 16, 1982 in Mansfield to Tony A. Yates and Sandra K. (Schinsky) Watts. Amy loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She enjoyed playing with her children and her nieces and nephews. She was also very creative and enjoyed drawing.She is survived by her mother and step-father, Sandra and Rich Watts of Mansfield; two children, Akira Garrison and Arianna Gerhart; two sisters, Ashley Yates and Alexa Harvey; step-brother, Josh Watts; nieces and nephews, Brayden, Emma, Addilyn, Kaliece, Benson, and Jaxson; aunts and uncles, Ronald and Tammy Schinsky, Rebecca and Norman Pritt, and Jeff and Annie Schinsky; grandmother, Carol Proffit of NC; numerous other aunts and uncles; many cousins; and special friend and companion, Butch Tresh.Amy was preceded in death by her father, Tony Yates; her grandparents; and her best friend and cousin, Christopher Schinsky.Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, OH. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
