Arthur G. Sly

Arthur G. Sly, 89, of Perrysville, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022.

Arthur was born on March 4, 1933, in Flint, Michigan, to Arthur C. and Vivian (Labar) Sly.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, and became a Staff Sgt rather quickly, due to his leadership skills. Arthur is remembered by his family as being a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.  He enjoyed boating and bowling and was an avid golfer. A big accomplishment in his life was that he had two hole-in-ones at different times, which he was so proud of.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Jean Sly; children, Ren᷉e (Steve), Susan (Nick) Eric (Raina) and Andy; ten grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leonard and Rick; and many nieces and nephews.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John and Pat; and sisters, Joyce and Shirley.

A celebration of life will be held privately by the family at a later date.
