Betty J. Noblet, age 92 of Mansfield, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was born on August 13, 1933, in Mansfield to the late George and Kathryn (Jacobs) Schafer.
Betty spent her life caring for her family. She loved babysitting and had a hand in raising many wonderful children. She enjoyed word search puzzles and Solitaire, feeding and watching the birds, and listening to old timey music and often singing along.
She is survived by her grandchildren Crystal (Shane) Dishong, Michelle Clinage, Cortney (Joe) Berry, and Angela (Scott) Edwards; her great-grandchildren Cameron Clinage, Abbraxas (Brandon) Foster, Taylor Berry, Cassidy Dishong, Kyle (Cyntara) Davis, Ryan Berry, Gaige Dishong, Brooke Clinage, and McKenna Clinage; and numerous great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Noblet; her children Debra Clinage, Harold “Butch” Clinage, and Robert “Bobby” Clinage; her grandson Jason Clinage; her siblings Patsy Powell, Mildred Carsey, and George Schafer, Jr.; and her parents George and Kathryn Schafer.
Family and friends may gather to honor Betty’s memory on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Burial will take place at a later date at Mansfield Cemetery.
