Beverly Gail Gose

Beverly Gail Gose, 71, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 27, 2018.Gail was born on February 11, 1947 in Oteen, North Carolina to William C. Sawyer II and Marjorie A. (Reedy).Gail graduated from Willard High School. In her younger years, she was employed at RR Donnelley & Sons as a proof reader. She married the love of her life, Stanton Gose, and moved to Mansfield, Ohio where they made a home and raised three girls. Gail was an avid reader and passed her love of reading to her children. She loved to be surrounded by friends and family and was happiest hosting get-togethers with them. She retired from Kroger Company after 14 years. In her retired years she enjoyed spending time with family and keeping up on current events. Gail found peace and happiness going for rides in the country and fishing with her life partner, Lee. Gail's favorite past time was taking in and caring for homeless cats and kittens, nurturing them and giving them love. She enjoyed their innocence and unconditional love. Her greatest joy in life was being a mom and grandma! Her love, knowledge, generosity, and compassion will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Jane (Dave) Williams, Kristin Lynn Bradshaw, and Katharine Elizabeth (Billy) Taylor; three siblings, Rita (Tom) Meigs, Lisa (Charlie) Fortman, and Craig Sawyer; nine grandchildren, Brittney Bradshaw, Lauren (Jacob) Bergstrom, Morgan (Anthony) Carelly, Hanna (Joey) Burns, Jordynn (Justin) Liggett, Hunter, Bradshaw, Trey Williams, McKynna Taylor, and Layne Fausnaugh; three great-grandchildren, Kiersten Whisler, Emilia Carelly, and Eli Bergstrom. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanton Gose; life partner, Herman "Lee" Stillwell; brother, William "Billy" Sawyer III; and three great-grandchildren, Evalynn, Emerie, and Ella Bergstrom.Calling hours will be from 11:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield.
