Bonnie S. (Howard) Caldwell

Bonnie S. (Howard) Caldwell, 74, of Mansfield, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2024.

Bonnie was born on April 28, 1949, in Lewis County, KY, to Connor and Mary Olive (Gillam) Howard.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her flowerbeds, sewing, cooking, and puzzle books.

She is survived by her children, Judy Elaine Howard of Morehead, KY, John “Boe” Skaggs and James Henry (Missy) Skaggs, both of Mansfield; grandchildren, Genie, Matthew, Dawna, Nikki, Desiree, and Connor; and siblings, Vanessa (Henry) Chambles of Denver, CO, Shirley Fultz of Olive Hill, KY, and Barb (Chuck) Middleton of Mansfield.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Donald Skaggs I; second husband, Michael David Caldwell; son, Donald D. Skaggs II; and brothers, Johnny Howard and Mark Howard.

Calling hours will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Robert J. Kurtz officiating.
