Braden Neal Wert

Braden Neal Wert, 46, of Mansfield, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital, following an illness.

Braden was born August 30, 1978, in Mansfield, the son of Braden Ray and Susie (Fugett) Wert. He never met a stranger. Braden loved to play darts and enjoyed being at his son’s demolition derbies and races. He also developed a love to cookout and try different foods

Along with his mother he is survived by his children: Braden Jr. and Averey Wert; his siblings: Tammie Wert-Taylor, Rebecca (Noah) Cooley, Brian (Maxine) Wert; several nieces and nephews; and some special friends; Dustin Lane, Chelsey Edwards, Darren Bond, Shannon Kisling, Tim McAllister, Bet and Charlie Frazier, Jeffery Edwards, Tiffany Wilfong, Chelbi Richardson, Abe and Julie Vasquez and Danny and Luella Gibson, along with several other friends.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A celebration of Braden’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family in care of the funeral home. Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
