Brenda Sue (Workman) Kingman, 59, of Willard, was released by Jesus from her troubled, hurting, and tired body and mind on Thursday morning, June 23, 2022.
She was born December 7, 1962, in Lodi, to Bill R. and Nellie (Sommers) Workman. Sue was strong and endured many difficulties in her life. She will be terribly missed by her family! However, we are thankful that she is in the presence of Jesus, the great Healer and life giver. As a young woman, Sue accepted the grace, mercy, and forgiveness that God provides to all humanity through His Son, Jesus, coming to this earth to lay down His life on the cross on behalf of everyone who chooses His way of salvation according to the Bible.
We are assured that her troubled mind, which she struggled with daily, could not take away what God so freely gave to her years earlier. Sue loved her family. Although she had no children of her own, she always was interested in the well-being and affairs of her nephews and nieces.
Sue was preceded her death by a sister, Rose Mary Ann Workman; her mother, Nellie Lucille Patricia Workman; her father, Bill Ray Workman; a brother, Chris Edward Workman; her grandparents, Willard and Mary Workman and John and Axline Sommers; and Henry McCormick, who was for 25+ years her faithful, caring, and loving partner/spouse.
Sue is survived by her siblings, Billy (Barb) Workman of Florida, Vanessa Holbrook of Wooster, Mike (Jeanne) Workman, Violet Debo, and Loretta (Bernie) Adkins all of Mansfield; several nieces and nephews; and aunt, Joy (Gary) Campbell of Frederickstown.
There will not be any funeral services at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
If anyone would like to make a financial contribution to help with funeral expenses may be made to the funeral home.
Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, OH 44905 is handling the arrangements.
