C. Ann (Rains) Williams

C. Ann Williams, 77, of Bucyrus, was called home to our heavenly father on Saturday, May 7, 2022.

Ann was born to Curtis Rains and Dixie Duncan on June 13, 1944 in Harlen, Kentucky. She married the love of her life, Orville “Red” Williams, on July 2, 1960. Ann retired after 25 years from NEER Manufactory in Lexington, Ohio. They made many memories fishing, boating, and camping at Lake Erie with her family and close friends. Her hobbies included making hardtack candy, sewing, cooking, crafting, and upholstering.

Ann is survived by her husband, Orville “Red” Williams of Bucyrus and was a loving and caring mother to Ruth Jordan (Brant), Orville “Bob” Williams (Kris), and Bonnie Malueg (Bob). She especially loved being a “Grammy” to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Ben Estep, Floyd Estep, and Jimmy Estep; and three grandchildren, Tadd Michael Williams, Katlyn Shope-Williams, and Brandon Stamper.

Calling hours will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, OH. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Buddy Walters officiating.
