Carl F. Wallace Sr, 77, of Mansfield, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021.
Carl was born on March 3, 1944, in Greer, Ohio, to Charles and Zora (Hildenbrand) Wallace. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He married his sweetheart, Joan (Butler) Wallace, on October 6, 1984, and she survives. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Carl was a mechanic and especially enjoyed working on small engines. He was a landscaper and a Jack of all trades. He loved to dance to polka, and enjoyed Elvis Presley and his country music favorites, George Jones and Johnny Cash.
Along with his wife, Joan, he is survived by his children, Sue (Richard) Warren, Carl Wallace Jr, Richard Bishop, Steven (Mandi) Bishop, and Gina (Johnnie) Cushard, and Mickey Wallace; his grandchildren; and his sister, Goldie Wallace.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tina Bishop; three brothers, David Wallace, Robert Purdy, Richard Wallace; and sister, Ruthy Wallace.
Calling hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday March 29, 2021, at First Baptist Church, 1233 US HWY 42, Ashland. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m.
