Carolyn Ann (Ohler) Harvey, 84, of Mansfield, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital.
Carolyn was born October 27, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Walter and Helen (Curtis) Ohler. She was a member of Zion’s Refuge Baptist Church and a retired employee of Jay Industries. Family was everything to Carolyn and she loved to spend time with them. She enjoyed going to Cleveland Indian’s games and watching them on TV along with the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. Before she lost her eyesight, she loved to play Bingo and go to Atlantic City. Carolyn was very adventurous and was ready to go anywhere. She was always happy and no one was a stranger to her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Carolyn is survived by two children, Wally Harvey of Bellview, MI and Susan Harvey Crawford of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Mathew Crawford of Mansfield and Von Restelli of Columbus; two brothers, Daryl (Linda) Ohler of Mansfield and Daland Ohler of Mt. Vernon; two very close friends, Darlene Sutter and Judy Hopping; many nieces and nephews; and many, many close friends.
Along with her parents and grandparents, Carolyn was preceded in death by one daughter, Helen Harvey Chan; and one brother, Walter Ohler.
Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2021 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor David Parsons officiating. Burial will be in Lantz Cemetery.
