Cherie Shilling Obituary

Cherie K. Shilling, Mansfield, 73, died suddenly on Thursday September 16th, at home.

Cherie was born December 1st, 1947, in Mansfield, Ohio to Lawrence and Thessel (Weirich) Smith. Cherie was preceded in death by her parents and many siblings.

Surviving is her one son Charles Shilling of Mansfield, three daughters, Mrs. Rocco (Sharon) Manicho of Columbus, Ms. Michelle Porter of Columbus and Ms. Donna Shilling of Mansfield, Grandsons Dreyvon Cansler, Charles Shilling II and Grayson Shilling of Mansfield, Justin and Rocco A. Manicho, Marcus Porter and Anthony Melton of Columbus; Granddaughters Jocelyn Shadow Shilling of Mansfield, Summer Manicho, Mrs. Michael (Jasmine) Reed of London, Crystal Collins, Josezetta and Torshell Porter of Columbus and many great-grandchildren, sister Joyce Ann Young of Mansfield and many close friends that called her “Mom”.

No services will be held, per Cherie’s request and wish to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held on September 28th, starting at 4PM at 285 Grace St, Mansfield, Oh 44902-1117.
