Cheryl Ann Shoemaker

Cheryl Ann Shoemaker, 50, of Mansfield, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Ohio Health MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a brief illness. Cheryl was born April 9, 1965 in Mansfield to Frank and Ethel Oswalt, Sr. She enjoyed going to church, loved her cats and dogs, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Cheryl is survived by her mother, Ethel Oswalt; five children; Misty (Sumo) Lee of Galion, Patrick (Julia) Shoemaker, Jr. of Shelby, Craig Shoemaker of Shelby, Blair Shoemaker of Mansfield, and Cody Shoemaker of Mansfield; seven grandchildren; one sister, Brenda Taylor of Mansfield; one brother, Frankie Oswalt, Jr. of Mansfield; and two nephews. Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Frank Oswalt, Sr.; and one grandson, Keaton Lewis. Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015 with funeral services following at 4:00 p.m. at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, Ohio 44905.
