Claire E. (Romyns) Vealey, 76, of Mansfield, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023.
Claire was born on April 11, 1946, in Franklin Borough, New Jersey, to William A. and Dorothy (Christian) Romyns. Claire loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She enjoyed playing canasta, crocheting, doing word searches, and watching hockey and the Hallmark channel.
She is survived by her children, Suzanne Vealey of Pennsylvania, Stephen (Amy) Vealey of Mansfield, and Kathleen (Ricky) Burns of Mansfield; grandchildren, Christopher Vealey and Adam Vealey; siblings, Ann Sonnenberg of Mansfield and John Romyns; and grandpups, Angus Malcolm, Misty, and Bo.
Along with her parents, Claire was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Leslie Vealey; and many siblings.
Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2023, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Memorial services will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Smith officiating.
