Clinton Dale Hardy

Clinton Dale Hardy, 59, of Mansfield, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021.

Clinton was born on May 11, 1962, in Mansfield, to Theodore Raymond “Ted” and Martha “Marti” E. Ratliff Hardy, and raised by his grandparents, Hattie and Richard Ferguson. Clinton was with the love of his life, Sherry (Beer) Hardy, for over 37 years. He loved his family and loved being around them. Clinton had an outgoing personality. He never met a stranger and anyone he met was a friend for life. Clinton was mechanically minded and he enjoyed working on his jeep and pickup, going fishing and being on his pontoon, working on his flower beds and gardening, and helping others. He loved his dogs, Lucy and Smokey.

 Along with his wife, Sherry, he is survived by his children, Ashley Danielle Hardy, Christy Yvonne Hardy, and  Chad William Spears, all of Mansfield; grandchildren, Tabitha Spears, Cody Spears, Chase Spears, and Gracelynn Spears; siblings, Corrine Peregoy of Norfolk, Virginia, and Raymond Hardy of Reno, Nevada; half-brother, Art Hardy of Mansfield; and step-siblings, Paul Kegley and George Hall of Mansfield, and Gypsy Messer of Cleveland.

Clinton was preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents; and a sister, Christine Hardy.

Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Dink Porter officiating.
